Often allies are people who work together for their shared benefit. I'm not sure why we need to change the meaning of ally to person helping me with no gain of their own. They own a home or two and want to see prices go up, up, up like it was a stock. Boomers also tend to vote more in local elections. Well, boomers are more likely to own a home, and home owners are more likely to vote in local elections, and vote in favor of things that keep house values up, and against anything that might bring them down.

Yeah, my favorite pranks are like magic tricks. I saw one once where they had a bunch of trash cans attached to wires, and this little girls would sneeze and the cans would all look like they got blown back from the sneeze. They did it on a busy street and showed people's reactions.
Yeah, I feel that. Especially if it's a joke at their expense or belittling them. I see this more as a sort of magic trick, and as someone who has worked these jobs, a little entertainment to break up the monotony is nice.
