The Dresden Files. Book series about a Chicago private investigator who's also a wizard. Helps the police deal with supernatural adjacent crimes, like a drug dealer who dabbles in black magic. It's pretty good stuff.
What you know isn't half as important as who you know. Having friends in the right places will open doors that no amount of hard work ever will.
I used to have a friend like this, or so I thought. Found out the hard way it was one sided. Then he went to prison, and things only got worse from there. 🙁

I also wish there was more, but I also felt that Star and Marco's story arc had reached its conclusion. Maybe a sequel series starring their no doubt bratty magic flinging, karate chopping wild child?
I don't pay a lot of attention to American news, so I have no clue what this is a reference to. But at a glance, my instincts tell me it's hilarious.
It's a shame they couldn't finish DBZA, but it's good to see they're still releasing content. Their writing is SO good

My favorite neighbor back in the day was Gaston, the grouchy rabbit with a moustache. Smothering him with kindness was always fun.
