Sometimes I post elephants.

Raped. Just for the heck of it, I'm dropping the 'allegedly'. What is he gonna do, sue me?

And most people want to work. Just that most work is not fulfilling, engaging or rewarding. Instead you spend like half of your waking hours jumping up and now on command.

Sorry about the depression, but your coping methods seem very healthy.

I met a Christian once. She was maybe 85 at the time, lived in Lebanon. Spent her days carrying water from a community well for the families, where the parents worked.

No, I'm not religious, but she that because she felt that was the teaching. Some draft strength positively, and that for me is good. If it helps you channel your life well, it's better than being a misanthrope.

The dogs' "happy run" when they just sprint together is so great to see. They just go, no care in the world!

Yes. No way to keep things without bias or mistakes. The AP I really enjoy, because they cover a big spread, but it's then worth it to have a look at more specialised sources too. That's why I like mentioning the Israeli media, a friend of mine is kind enough to translate me some Hebrew sources, and their news reporting and commentary are more open than many "Western" sources.

Keep your eyes open and look for confirmation!

I suppose one could talk about the comparative scale. Progressive compared to the disgrace in the Oval currently? For sure! But she was a very establishment candidate. Having said that, as you correctly pointed out too, things would be less catastrophic.

Taught, sure. But it's not like a new phenomenon. Folks in the service are also told not to do war crimes, but that's never stopped the US.

The US welfare programmes are miserable to begin with. Cutting would be a major disaster.

What inspired you to visit this particular place? It's fantastic, but always curious to see how someone decides where to spend a vacation. And best of all, looks like you've been having a blast!

He does, yes. But in case anyone cares, what he posted is against both domestic and international law.

In my view, everyone's first responsibility is to what they can best influence. So an American condemning their leadership is more valid than them talking about the evils of Iran. We can, and should, do both of course, but if for some reason you can only care about one thing, focus on something you can actually change.

He just recently posted threats against Iran on Truth Social for everyone to see. That's barred by both domestic and international law. Law isn't even suggestion for these fucks.

Very sorry about your loss! It's been a while, but my gran passed away just before her 90th birthday. It was peaceful, and despite the sorrow the family gathered to share food and laughs. Keep her in your mind, it's the best way of honouring her.

I wouldn't drop the AP. It's worth keeping an eye on news sources that have a clear spin too, but just bear their perspective in mind. For instance the media in Israel, very often supportive of their state, talks about things that are rarely mentioned in the mainstream elsewhere. In my view it's worth it to cast a wide net.

He was at least in that one where the bishop called out his bullshit policies.

This is anecdotal, but I've noticed a huge surge in awareness over the last few years. Let's say ten years ago, really had to start from the very basics when discussing Palestinian affairs, for instance.

Better late than never. Hopefully the awareness will turn into more action as well.

And opinions like this aren't loudly condemned, nor are they all that rare.

That's really good shooting. Those anti-aircraft machine guns are real pain to aim with.

Or the US for that matter. The reason is basically the same, the US power makes the two immune to criticism and condemnation.

Found his YouTube like a month ago. It's been a lot of fun, and his enthusiasm and good cheer work really well!

One way to open it would be to stop the fucking aggression.

And honestly, I've not really seen people defending the Iranian regime.

Is it somehow relevant to this post?

Very true. And I'm somewhat naively hoping they will face some consequences. Unlikely, sure, but worth hoping.

Now, to be fair, the last one is wrong. He has made the situation in Ukraine worse too.
