I’m sick of the world choices being made by greedy, billionaire politicians that couldn’t care less about our happiness. I just want people to be afforded the opportunity to find what makes them happy in life. After all, isn’t that what it’s all about? I know many of the kids where I live (rural midwest) aren’t really shown many other options for adulthood than college or military, and if you can’t afford the fist they think they have no options. These towns are dying and small business could literally save them but nothing useful (business, small town economics, etc.) is taught in public high school.

Since moving to a small Midwestern town, I’ve learned that the problem is a lack of creativity and motivation, and honestly intelligence. No disrespect, but because of all the drugs and lack of youth, the leaders of these towns don’t understand how economics works. They are constantly seeking large companies to come and employ the entire town, but have no concern for how fragile that will make them. I’ve encountered one town successfully operating on small business.
