Agree with all of this, also a great prequel for UBW. FZ is honestly my favorite anime, all the characters are so well flushed out.
Vinland Saga is some good shit
Try Fate/Zero. There are a few kid characters but it’s mostly adults and it’s pretty dark, very good.
