I would describe myself as emotional, passionate, and kind. Though I've read that a pun is the lowest form of entertainment, I confess I love them! I have 4 cats that sprawl wherever they damn please and they have me well trained. My welcome mat says, "Free Food". I've been a gamer since "Pong"; and a dedicated PC gamer since 2001. That said, I don't play people games - no time for trolls, stupid-ass intolerant people, or folks who will not or cannot consider another view. I always listen. If I make a mistake I own up to it, too. My favorite series is "Mass Effect". Replayed all of it last year for the 3rd time and was rewarded with the most powerful moment in the decades of my gaming history. It came when I met up with Grunt on another planet leading a patrol. We were outnumbered and I had to leave him. From an earlier replay I was sure that I was leaving the patrol leader to his death, so I was not surprised to find I had tears in my eyes as we parted. The rest of my people got to the surface and sure enough, there was an explosion. At 3:00 in the morning I found myself yelling his name at the top of my voice, grieving, crying so hard I couldn't see the screen. Then, out of the dust....... Grunt!! I was still crying but now laughing at the same time - I just had to stop the game and pull myself back together to continue. (And Grunt's only comment was, "Got anything to eat?") There are some great people here. I pay attention to them. I learn something every day, which is why this site is so addicting. It makes me feel welcome to contribute what I know. I love this site.
I totally understand. It threw me off after having such a great storyline. I was thinking there'd be big dramatic tidal wave of an ending - but I never saw multiple choice coming.
Whenever I have a new cat I put them in a room by themselves for 3 days. It gives them a chance to get situated, then the residents and the newbie can smell and touch under the door 'til they all get more used to it.
I never understood the hate for ME3's ending. It was a noble ending for me. I chose to let Shepard die and become one with the machine, to make space travel possible, again. I seem to recall a cut scene to an old man and his daughter (granddaughter?) in a snowy park at night. The young girl says, "Tell me the story about The Shepard, again..." "Oh, all right..." (something to that effect). I was good with that choice.
Funniest-sounding snooze button ever...!
I so love the sound of breathless laughter!!

Don't ask the stupid fuckers in charge. They'll just say we never lost a war, period, since they don't know history. Or geography. Or - don't get me started....
For some reason I'm seeing the top half of an angry R2-D2...
