Bongland mid gen-x programmer living in N-E England. Fuck cancer, hug kittens.
Boumboum34 answered. "1 For All" youtube series, Deerstalker channel. Also if this floats your boat, would suggest looking up The Hero Yoshihiko, similar premise wiith lots of Dragoon Quest refrerences.
Character in the Dishonoured franchise.
Like the Coen's work. Never heard of Beer Fest, will check it out.
This. Excellent. If not, would Amazon Women on the Moon work?
No worries. Feel free to DM me with opinions when you've had the chance, always interesting to hear other people's opinions.
Either that, or salts of individual characters, also much less secure.
All of Ralph Bakshi's films are worth at least a look. Never terribly successful financially, but he is an interesting guy film-wise. Did an attempt at Lord of the Rings in the 1970s, Fritz the Cat in the 1960s (based on the Robert Crumb cartoon), and Fire and Ice. Worth checking out.
Agreed. Staunch atheist here, but the few times I have heard Leo come out with pronouncements I have to admit he seems to talk reason.
Render to Caesar what is Caesar’s.
Naomi Klein's "Doppelganger" is an interesting read about how she, a pro-climate and anti-capitalist activist, started getting confused with Wolf. Who, to be fair, is a bibble.
Thanks for the word 'mordida' - hadn't encountered that previously.
Black pudding is an acquired taste, but well worth the effort. Goes great on a full English breakfast.
and 'Meals rejected by the enemy' (thanks Actas).
Sounds like the Sir Pterry version of Dwarf bread.
Bit unfair to Gorbachev that, he was a respected statesman and negotiated the break-up of the USSR. Trump, on the other hand, is a fuckwit.
That Information Society track is a banger, thanks again.
Haven't heard of Information Society, but do love me some VNV Nation. Thanks for the recommendation. Any love for Cassandra Complex?
It may serve to show people who are uncomfortable with the current regime but afraid to do anything about it that there is public support. IDK, last protest I went on was against Gulf War 2: Electric Boogaloo. About a million of us turned up in That London but Blair went ahead anyway.
TPB has the full ep (there's generally a super-compressed version running at ~400MB, which is good enough as you don't need super high quality video.
Just as long as they're not Little Sisters (for any John Wyndham fans out there, if any)
Megane-ko is a thing.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-14475985 - played my arts centre in the 1990s. Quite amusing to overhear people buying tickets and fucking up the pronunciation.
https://x.com/heynavtoor/status/2037638554374099409 interesting read via Hacker News yesterday. It's apparently not just public domain works that are thrown into large lamguage models.
Good points. I don't like Morgan, but fairly often he pulls the "person you dislike makes a good point" schtick. Also, Galloway is a massive arse but here I'm also compelled to agree with him.
I'm torn, but it is way up there. Thank you, Mr. Watterson.
He's in good company; Hemingway, Burroughs and (Hunter S) Thompson were all ailurophiles (sp?).
Prosopagnosiac here. There is a chance that there are other factors, of which you are unaware, in play here.
Pretty sure that by definition, over 10% did indeed vote for this mess. Best estimates are about 25-30%.
Thanks.
My dumb friend couldn't work that one out. They know it's console related, but got no further. Little help? For them, obvs.
