As an old woman (who was sent home for wearing pants, second grade, in Michigan no less) I’m so sick of the patriarchy and bad-taste-in-your-mouth casual sexism I get the rage. The profound rage.
I was a special ed teacher but I was subbing. There was another teacher who had retired from the military. I realized he was also a special education teacher in a way. He was very patient.
