My husband and I just lost a friend like this last week. He was in the Air Force. He always seemed so happy. He will be dearly missed.

To take the anchor out press down really hard on the top of the jewelry, this will break the skin that has connected it to you inside (1/2)

No you don't because the jewelry should be made out of surgical steel, they do have to be taken out for x-rays and what not though...

recommend surface bars (done correctly) over dermal anchors. They keep better. Happy piercing!!

The way we did it at the shop I worked at a dermal punch (small circular) blade was used to make the hole then the back of the jewelry (1/2)
