Even for the sake of argument we were to accept the existence of a smart Trump supporter, what the fuck makes her think she qualifies? Even I'm smart enough to know that I'm a fucking idiot.
Even if Citizens United got overturned, the establishment candidates still get a fuck ton of free advertising from all the cable news bootlickers and corporate media, on top of doing all they can to attach a negative stigma to any candidates trying to buck the system.

He's a US Senator so gerrymandering isn't an issue. Their voter base is the entirety of the state. If he were a US Representative, then gerrymandering would play a factor as their base is a district within the state.
