You are correct. Source: Former Imgur developer that was laid off with everyone else.
This isn't actually us, this is you. Or more specifically, your IP address or Internet Provider. Either you, other people on your IP, or other people in IP's near you have sent too many requests in too short of a time and you're being rate limited. Especially true for uploads. There's too many malicious actors on the internet for us to not be aggressive like this, sorry.
They just put in garbage
Awww yeah
There should be less of that now
Secret Santa data is dumped after every event, and now that we're not doing it anymore that database is gone baby gone.
FWIW it's a partnership with a different company, not something Imgur heavily invested in creating.
You shouldn't have to write the User Story, that's Products issue. But make the bug report so they know. Anyway found a bug in Android for Emerald users seeing a rare ad when they shouldn't that's getting fixed.
I'm guessing the JS that decides you shouldn't get ads is being partially blocked by the thing that blocks ads; maybe the Firebase calls.
Can you try something crazy, whitelist Imgur in your Adblocker, and see if the ads go away (if you're Emerald)

I can't replicate on Emerald acct
Hmm, try logout and login again. If it persists contact support, that's a bug for sure
We feed the server hamsters all these bananas.
The game developers said, "Ahh we see what happened here - Clueless was an incorrect answer but did reveal the last path because of an overlap. Thus you lost but then won when the character made it there. We will add some fixes for this but will say kinda probably atypical to get in that situation."
Hey we fixed it
Try restarting the app, the event has been over for more than 24hrs and I haven't seen any other user reports of it lingering when it shouldn't have.
This guy is correct.
Oh we're doing this next year
It's staying around
We decided not to force an update on people just for an April Fools event. If people wanted the event and it hadn't updated, they can update or restart. Also added a way to toggle the event on/off if people are annoyed by it. Hopefully it's just silly enough to be fun, and doesn't crash the servers like last year.
The designer who did this artwork saw this post and gave it  emoji response
This was the only feature I suggested, too bad we couldn't easily do it on the apps
I assume you don't have these problems anymore?
AWS dashboards, I went with potato quality because it's the shape of the line that matters, plus I didn't want to make sure there wasn't any hostnames in it
