#11 the type of work I did was between "making" the screens to go on this thing and the customer - been watching mass production, automation, and AI whittle away at things I would normally have done - but I used a computer, I would've never done well in the days before it with specialized font creation, drafting boards, and exacto knives
they only needed 3 of them too, but could use one in a pinch just ask Rodney
Yeah, the map isn't at all correct, the Great Lakes, the MIssissippi, etc. all have access to oceans for trade purposes - and to confuse people, there's a submarine based in Oklahoma of all places
No clue, best I can come up with is Christian Walking Dead - and not sure where to go with that

Thank you for the info - as a writer and graphic designer I've seen the havoc it's wrought in those fields, and friends more artistically bent than my technical side of doing things. Even so, it's easy to forget and/or overlook things when they're not in an area of personal experience - fortunately, I'm smart enough to know there's things I don't know and it is by FAR better to learn from another than experience a thing yourself in harmful things, not good for them, but...
what exactly does that mean "known"? Because as far as I know I am trying to be as direct and honest as I can in the worst place I have ever been or ever wanted to be - do you want documentation, have you read anything about me, or is it simply that I am desperate enough to ask for help when there is no place else left for me to ask?
OR as my spouse has said with a same life-long disabling issue - it could make so many things much easier IF paired properly with a Real Physician diagnosis and starting the script with scripted follow-ups for a more hands-on check-up and continuance

There's a fun little Larry Niven Known Space short story about that, more or less. Don't have my library anymore to find the name, but in essence a fault set up another fault and a whole colony gets (almost?) destroyed.More fun was how the colony being founded was ALSO an AI mistake
But, agreed on the band name
I thought it was light rays too, but the device and everything makes it look more like a really powerful and fast rail gun/laser combo, and what he's punching are the packets of metal (see the brighter streaks right before most of the punches)
Her biggest question is how it could affect employment/schooling?
What should I expect in already being her caretaker? This 1st time seems to have lasted a few days, tapering off in intensity.
