It's in the book, which is amazing!

I'm from the north of Norway where we have snow basically six months out of twelve, and this is still my reaction every time I wake up to the first snowfall of the year. I just love it so much.

There is a "to a debilitating degree" missing from most of the "and my neurodevergent ass be like..."-memes here in Imgur. Everyone does the "I should do the thing, why am I not doing the thing!" and the association train of thought sometimes, and some more than others, but not to a degree where it regularly causes actual real problems in our lives. I'm the conductor on the thought association train, and to me it's just a neat personality trait.

As a Fully Certified Adult I like a little whisky in mine.

Melt chocolate. Add milk. Heat while stirring. Voila, you have made delicious hot chocolate! My mum always melted the chocolate in a little bit of coffee and added a small sprinkle of cinnamon, yum.

Don't worry, I found Patman bleh, but adored both new Superman and the movie as a whole.

I work for the city of Oslo, and the official pride lanyards like the interviewer was wearing were distributed for the first time a couple of years ago, and they're such a hot commodity, everyone loves them. The municipality has their own fleet in the Pride parade, and different municipal agencies take it in turn to be responsible for it, and this year it's the Burial sites and cemetery agency, which is pretty metal 💀

#27 I know a Kari (Scandinavian female name) who was married for several years to a Finnish man named Kari (Finnish male name). Figuring out the correct recipient of post could get very confusing.

Don't baby talk to kids, but absolutely do baby talk to babies - baby talk is an exaggerated version of the sounds and music of language, and helps babies learn the basics.

Holy crap, we had dinner at that table when we visited a couple of years back! We slept in the new annex across the road, though, so no ghosts :( the real terror was the drive there on the wrong side of the road.

This is adorable, but how tf did they get up there?

I'm from the north of Norway. I grew up with snow covering everything for half the year. I get just as happy as this guy every time I wake up to a fresh snowfall. It might be a Stockholm syndrome-thing, but I just love snow!

Thank you for telling us about him,. He sounds like a wonderful, funny and loving man, and your love for him shines so clearly through the obituary. My mother died much too soon as well, and it's unfair as hell. Condolences and kind thoughts.

Nah, you don't "catch" cancer or heart attacks, so the way this is formulated you'll still die, just not from an infectious disease.

Additionally, "killing" means kitten in Danish.

When they're babies/small toddlers, typical "baby speak" (Imagine a cooing grandma) is very good for their language development, because baby speak is a very exaggerated and simplified version of the inflection and main sounds of whatever language you speak. When they start talking in sentences and building vocab, however, normal adult talking is the way to go. So it's true for older toddlers and upwards, but not for the very first part of child speech development.

You're obviously not Hungarian. My daughter complained that I'd made too little cabbage when I cooked an entire head for the two of us, with the intention of leftovers.

Well, he keeps wanting more info about how exactly the butter was used on the actress, so I stand by my last sentence and my point that the fact that their actions were wilfully non-consensual is more important than what exactly they did with the butter.

Don't worry about my language skills, I formulated my answer quite deliberately. It gets a bit tiresome answering people who are "just asking questions" that are in actuality dismissive of harmful actions. It's not whether or not she was groped, hit, spat on, yelled at, penetrated, held down or kissed that determines the severity of their actions, it's that they went from consensual actions to non-consensual actions deliberately to provoke real terror.

You're not coming across as innocently and genuinely curious about why harm was caused, you're coming across as dismissive of her experience ("no penetration, so can't have been that bad!) and weirdly focused on the physical acts, as if what he did to her determines the level of harm caused rather than the fact that what he did was non-consensual and in violation of whatever physical acts they had agreed upon for the scene beforehand.

But do you need to know the specific logistics involved to understand how deviating from a planned scene would cause her harm? They even specifically said that they did what they did to elicit real terror i.e. harm. Imagine the director and one actor deviating from a coordinated fight scene in order to cause the other actor actual physical harm for the camera, if that helps.

How am I an asshole for asking a genuine question in return? The linked articles clearly explained that they deliberately changed the planned scene to cause her to feel real fear, do you need to know the specific logistics of what they did in order to understand how their actions caused her real harm?

It wasn't a simulated sex scene, it was a simulated rape scene. They had agreed with the actress beforehand how it was supposed to go, then Marlon and the director deliberately deviated from that to get a genuine reaction of terror from the actress. Are you still not clear on how that might cause her harm?

Fittingly, her name is "Socks" in my accent! That is one happy and relaxed sock wearing cat.

Love your style! Så spent hver gang på om jeg kjenner igjen gata. Er det lov å ønske seg noe fra Gamlebyen?

Haha, this does the opposite of relaxing me - looking at English knitting makes my fingers itch. But love to see the rings working!

"Ikke faen!" Though that's where I grew up, so this particular noise just made me nostalgic.
