Is there aught we hold in common with the greedy parasite, Who would lash us into serfdom and would crush us with his might? Is there anything left to us but to organize and fight? For the union makes us strong.

I was going to say. That's held in place by a loooooot of tape, she isn't going to risk titty on the red carpet.

I'm just curious why everyone is still listening to the words of a late stage dementia patient like he has any idea what he is saying from moment to moment.

I think this guy alone should be allowed to keep his license plate 🤣

Ben's a goddamn idiot

I see Ben has still failed to realize basic facts of existence...

Because this country only wants certain people to vote. It's why we don't get election day off and it's on a weekday. They want it to be as difficult as possible for the poor and disenfranchised to change their situation.

There's nothing wrong with being a sex worker. I know many and they are some of the kindest, most generous people I know. Some of the best parents, teachers, and friends.

Melania is shitty because she is complicit or participatory in literal sex crimes against minors, not because she did sex work.

It's really weird to live in a world where this stuff wasn't blatantly obvious to every single person around from the beginning.

I appreciate that, on this site, moooost of us could read the tea leaves from a mile away.

I live in the United States unfortunately. Cops here are more than happy to assault and abuse sex workers, and clients they try to entrap.

You're adorable.

Sweetie, your job isn't illegal. You don't need to phrase things a certain way to work around an unjust legal system.

It is illegal to trade a sex act for money. That's why cops entrap people by specifically *offering money for a sex act*.

However no one is breaking a law if they give somebody $300/hr for *their presence* without a specific itinerary...and if they just so happen to have sex in that time, no laws were broken.

You can absolutely hire a sex worker online, you just don't hire people for individual acts. You hire somebody for their time, and whatever happens during that hour is what consenting adults agreed to.

I definitely understand they put you in an uncomfortable situation... But as someone with a lot of trans friends, I understand that for them, it coming after some people might become a dangerous or deadly situation. You were burdened, they might be attacked. I think as allies it is our job to put ourselves between danger and those who are most vulnerable. It is not a burden, it's a duty.

You're basically saying that the efficiency of a business should be paramount to the safety and comfort of a person in a marginalized community that is actively targeted by both individuals and our government. For the sake of simplicity you are asking someone who may not be able to go to the bathroom where they want in their state to out themselves to every bigot in the company. That's asinine.

That seems like something that HR should have dealt with, not the responsibility of the trans person to out themselves to everyone and put themselves in danger.

You're all I get that you are trying to make sure the communal space operates efficiently. But what you're effectively asking someone to do is to out themselves to everyone and all of their opinions and all of the backlash in order for people who may not be trustworthy to have that information.

Absolutely, I just thought they meant for all of the new crimes he has done. Which would require a new trial, yes?

Eh I have noticed that many philosophies that promote detachment ignore the inherent privilege of having such a philosophy. It's very easy to be detached when things are not happening TO you. Detachment also means in the motivation to get involved is significantly lessened, further alienating folks.

I think we need to be attached to the people around us, and to our future. Hope also doesn't mean expectation, it just means embracing the possibility of a good future and actively working for it.

I genuinely am not trying to be shitty here. This is a genuine good faith question: Who gives a shit if it's confusing to some folks? Let people be confused. They can ask. Coming out is not for the ease and comfort of other people.

Here's the thing. We know. Any smart person knows we still have so much work to do. But we have so little to celebrate these days, let people have a party for a day, you know?

I definitely get what you're going for here, but I'll be completely honest. I don't think he would be considered fit to stand trial even right now. The reality that he's running a country is petrifying because any rational judge wouldn't consider him of sound mind to even stand to trial. He doesn't even know what's going on.

Just remember that coming out is for people who deserve to know it. It's not asking permission. It's merely informing them of something they have to respect. Full stop.

I was raised Catholic, I actually had a pretty decent experience (no abuse, not a lot of guilt) I just didn't believe. I am not condoning religion.

But I do think we have to acknowledge how metal Catholicism is when you look at it through an anthropological lens. Absolutely brutal.

The FIRST thing that happens is a child carries the symbol a man on a dying torture implement down the aisle. I WAS that child many Sunday mornings at 8am. There is a freakin' cannibal feast halfway through.

Yes

Here's the thing. Sure, a lot of folks could stop censoring themselves and they would still be promoted. The issue is that when folks from marginalized communities DON'T censor themselves they are put even lower in the algorithm than they already are. If someone is queer or not white, companies are looking for absolutely ANY reason to censor them.

The US government primarily consists of people with secrets that would lead to mutually assured destruction.

You know what's really nice? Like many of us, I was raised in an environment to be competitive and jealous of other women.

It's so freeing to have done enough work to immediately think YYYEEESSS WHAT A BAD BITCH 🤘🔥 (instead of becoming insecure and comparing myself to her).

Therapy works y'all.

I... I'm almost 100% sure this speech is AI or something. That man is far too coherent and remembered far too much information for the late stage dementia patient I've seen on camera lately.
