They need more votes to change a law (into their favor) then they need to continue a previous resolution. So they have to convince some Democrats to vote in favor. Since no Dems agreed, repubs claim Dems are the problem.

The reality is everyone is comparing digital artists to AI generations and I think that will be a losing argument. I've personally encouraged my artist friends to focus on "meat space" works and mediums cause no one (for now at least) will doubt if your statue is AI.

Hot take. The only way a billionaire can get rid of their money, is by spending it. We should make a company that quickly raises the prices of everything the ultra wealthy engage in to drain them. Like what if yachts were 4 million dollars more overnight? Would they even notice?

A piece of software being made to emulate a human is the point. Also, why does it have to be fossil fuels? Can't we use thorium, or solar? Or even something not yet discovered because we should be prudent? We are both regular people who will not change the trajectory of humanity or the planet in our lifetime.
I know everyone on this site is against AI, but learning to speak and identify things is one of the first things we do as children. Imagine if you asked your robot butler to do the dishes and they understood neither. Hate it all you want, it has to happen to move towards the next step.
