That's great! I adopted a FIV adult cat who was a surrender, she lived w/ us for 7 years with other animals and never spread the FIV. She was skittish, but a good girl.

Have you heard of the video game Control? It uses a lot of SCP entries. It's quite creepy.
I would love to have an anthology of ones from all over, not just ones that focus on a specific area/peoples. If you need artists, let me know. I'm part of an online artist group who I'm pretty sure would be interested. Doing a Kickstarter could be a nice way to get going, but I know nothing about starting one/calculating costs/etc

Nothing is stopping you from getting one now! I'm also in my 40s and buy toys for myself. You could get a nosy/chatty employee, but most folks won't ask who it's for. Also, American Girl dolls are expensive. Target and Walmart have cheaper alternatives that are around the same size. On a side note, love the idea of making clothes for the doll.
I only watched the first season ages ago, but I believe all it was is: the kids liked D&D and named the monster after a D&D creature.
Oof. I can't even imagine... On a completely unrelated note, I have a bunch of fun swords, a small axe, a war hammer, and other weapons. Purely ornamental and totally not for use against the culprit.
Yep. When I was honest on resumes, I didn't have much luck. Telling them what they wanted to hear had better results. Good luck on the job hunt!

Indeed! I got married a long time ago, so I made a playlist and played it off my laptop. Hubby forgot to bring the speakers, but it was fine. XD
This. I got married when I was unemployed. Kept costs low w/ a lot of DIY and not telling vendors that it was for a wedding unless we had to. Eg, got a simple sheet cake from the grocery store instead of a wedding cake which charges by the slice. Bought stainless steel rings online for around $50 each. Dress was a non-white style that got re-worn to Ren Faires later, around $200. There's a huge amount of upcharge/pressure to make weddings fancy/nice. Cheap is fine, the memories are what matter.

I love cooking w/ my hubby, we joke around. Way more entertaining than cooking alone.
