That's the point: They have the idea that nothing is unforgivable and everything will be forgiven, as long and you gaslight yourself into thinking that you did it for Jesus, no matter what! You lied, cheated, killed someone? Just pray the guild away and do it again tomorrow.
"The faster we kill the planet, the sooner Jesus will come back" - I mean, it's logical but when we let this influence environmental OR nuclear defense strategy, freedom of religion has gone to far.
Sounds like his first term. Yet he was reelected after the additional "botched pandemic response" was no longer a current issue. People are fine with this, as long as you tell them it's the Democrat's fault and Trump is going to make America great again. The Iran war is not special in so far as showing gross incompetence on Trump's part. Yes, it does but so does a lot else, but the special thing it, that it's pinned to him in a way, that even some of the idiots who voted for him in 24 understand
Hackers (1995) is one of my favorite movies. I like the handles they have, like Crash Override, Acid Burn, Cereal Killer and ... Lord Nikon. I did not think about the last one thought but yesterday it randomly clicked for my. Nikon, the cameras. Because HE HAS A PHOTOGRAPHIC MEMORY!!! I don't know how often I watched the movie and did not get this but too often.
The first question after "I don't know the exact number" should have been "Why? This is the most important part of you job, you should have spend at least enough time thinking about this to remember the number. No, not just the number but every single case! We are not talking ancient history here but what you did in the last couple of weeks!!"
I am not a basketball enjoyer, I never heard of Jaden Ivy, so the ONLY thing I know about him now is: GAY?
It's interesting that the Pigeons let this parrot eat among them, when I see a flock of pigeons and then a crow comes near them to see, what they are eating, the pigeons always get very stressed and then aggressive (when they have numbers and the crow is alone). But I guess because that parrot is smaller then them, they don't see him as a threat and ignore him.
Don't understate him, he will be the greatest damage to US foreign standing ever elected president as well as one of the following: 1. The end-bringer of democracy in the US. 2. Someone who ALMOST ended democracy in the US or 3. Someone who showed the flaws in the system through witch a smarter, more intelligent person could have ended democracy. - Let's hope for the last.
"If you don't support our Commander in chief at his most stupid decision you won't support him at his most evil decision. You will have to go. We need unquestioning loyalty. Why can't you be more like Hitler's Generals?"
lost-ception
I found this to be the best argument to throw at transphobes. Don't defend your trans homies right to exist by arguing ethics, logic or sociology. Tell the 'phobes: "Fuck off with your fake culture war bullshit that was invented, as a distraction, by some politicians who wants you mad about something that does not cost the billionaires shit either way." Worked 2/2 times so far, research ongoing.
What will be important is to see, how many Generals and other Staff officers are willing to do war crimes in the middle east but not at home. "The Rebellion"if it want's to have a chance will not be fought by a bunch of second amendment guys taking matters into their own hands, it must be lead by Democrat governors, senators and congresspeople and then ideally the military joins them with their command structure more or less intact
I don't know a few iterations ago, I got the shoes I like for round about 60-70€ because they were last season discounted and they were really great, wore them everyday for 2 years, until the sole was through. Last time, comparably comfy shoes are more like 150€, if I had known back then, I might have brought 5 pair to be settled for a good decade.
They also shoot more 155mm then they produce but yeah, basically. And now Trump is threatening to stop US companies from delivering weapons that Europeans have already paid for, for Ukraine. I hope our European governments remember that and not just say "Well, once he's out of office or dead, we can go back to normal." The US is not a save partner to get anything important from, they might at any point elect a madman, who will break any contracts, his predecessor (or even he himself) has signed
Well, there are nations, that are recognized as such by the other nations and then there are some whose legal status is questionable. This is important, because a war of aggression against the first will usually have massive diplomatic consequences, against the second not so much. So it's more of a "right to ask for (and receive) support from the international community, when your existence is threatened (be it in sanctions against the attacker, or in actual aid)". This is a similar concept.
That does not really matter, the important point is, that now any Congressman, even a Democrat can go to the hired contractors and say: "Here is my all-access security clearance, please show me the contract and the blueprints." So, if Trump build a secret bunker with an AI data-center under there, that he wants to use for personal projects, this is not on the record.
I'm not saying he is innocent. But if a right-wing propagandist like Kirk was shot by an unknown killer and the police was unable to find the criminal, then they would just make up all evidence and present a killer, because the political narrative needs there to be some conclusion. So yeah, he probably did it, but if he did not, it would look exactly like it does, evidence and all.
Israel as an experiment of a religious democracy has failed. If the US would please remove their hand protecting them, then we can divide the land among peoples, that can live in some degree of coexistence with their neighbors, that does not include genocide.
Okay, I'm against torture and unusual ways of execution for the sake of Sadism, but I do recon, that a certain Contrapasso is helpful to drive home the point of why the executed deserved the sentence and is therefore helpful in disincentivising other people from doing the same crime, independently of the threat of a painful death. And pouring molten gold down a greedy corupt guy's throat is prime Contrapasso!
"But I thoughted that if I vote for him, I'd be part of the Grifters, not part of the Grifted. Wha wha whaa!"
No, it's not unbelievable. It's very on brand. Corrupt people exist, have always existed. There are like a dozen Banana Republics where something like this happens all the time. The unbelievable thing is, that the US is supposedly still having strong enough democratic institutions to allow the Public to prevent this, yet there the Trumps are, governing like Mob-Bosses dreaming of being Kings.
The Nazis are still massively ahead. 6 million is a major part of the Jews in the areas where these 6 million came from. Meanwhile, even if you think the WHO number of ~75,000 dead Palestinians is to low, even 100,000 is still just a fraction of the 2 million population. That does not mean it ain't a genocide and that it is not cruel and a crime against humanity, it just means the Nazis were more industrial in the killing.
Well, he spends very little time in New York, now that he is president. You should vote where your primary residence is, aka where you spend most of the year and on this list Mar-a-lago is second place, far ahead of New York in third ... But despite a ridiculous about of golf compared to any other president, he does still spend slightly more time in Washington DC then in Florida. IMO, that's where he should vote. But then again, Florida is a swing state and Trump can just ignore rules...
A month sounds absolutely doable. Okay, if you do it on your own, no co-driver, then it is a tight schedule, not much time for sight-seeing, if you want to have reasonable rests and yeah - planing is important but apparently this dude is planing, that's why he is asking online, what things he might forget to consider so I say Godspeed good sir.
So, If Gaza is Netanyahu's Sudetenland-question and South-Lebanon is his Memel, then what will be the big "Danzig or War"?
Even after seeing how it works, it feels a little bit like magic.
not that it is not bad, but what do you mean with "the world turning a blind eye"? Like this is extremely reported, it's in everybody's news feed.
Only by channeling the Spirit of Jean-Paul Sartre, the lack of a windfarm becomes a thing by itself, for you to sell. If you ain't French, you can't claim that.
No, he wants to act, like he is tough and ready for a civil war, so that when he comes and says, that some democrats cheated on the elections and are therefore removed and imprisoned, then the "moderate voices" in the Democratic party say something like "Well, let's not have a civil war over it, let's just let the supreme court decide if he can do this and congress should have a vote to impeach him, maybe some republicans will join us?
Well, I would be saying that through it's actions Israel has voided all rights that other nations should come to it's aid, should their existence be threatened. They still exist, because they and the US WANT Israel to exist. but should tomorrow a coalition of nations decide to invade Israel and split it's land and population up between them, I would write my government, that this is fine and we should not take any means to stop them. I would have had a different opinion 3 years ago.
