Putting aside the safety aspect as mentioned in another comment (I know several companies that *require* its employees to back into all spaces in parking lots), longer cars, particularly pickup trucks, are very difficult to pull in to parking spots squarely on the first try; there just often isn't enough angle to do so. Sometimes a neighboring car is parked at an unfortunate angle, too, so it's easier to back in around it.
Quick turnaround on that gif. It was a great rob, but at least the Rangers got the sweep. =)
How about we not do any of that and just keep our system that has already kept our elections free of fraud (that requiring ID would have purportedly prevented) for decades without needlessly burdening anyone?
It *looks* amazing, yes. But man, every time I try a delicious-looking tomato because "it looks so damn good; it must be better than last time" I end up sad and disappointed yet again.
And like 3 minutes' worth for me.
For sure, but I've got five kids and work full time; ain't nobody got time for that right now.
As someone with a severe pistachio allergy, I would love for all the jarred pestos in the grocery stores to stop using pistachios instead of pine nuts.
"I'm sorry, sir, but we only have eight employees."
...............what.
Come, now, don't be obtuse; you know full well that there were many criticisms of her from progressives who would have been thrilled to have a black woman as president (and, indeed, voted for her absent a better choice). She was no champion of the left; while she was not without some good policies, she wouldn't have done what's needed to prevent this mess from happening again, and yes, "basically maintaining the status quo" is indeed a very low bar to clear.
Hell, even top Republicans put up a deal that would fund TSA and merely delay the (vote on?) funding for ICE, and Trump rejected it
Rather than spending his final days with his loved ones he's licking a fascist's boots; he's doubly awful.
Again, women's records and podia are not being overwhelmed by trans men, and they've been competing with their genders for many years now. There have been all of, what, two trans athletes in the last few Olympics? You are trying to solve a *phantom* problem, no matter how "common sense" you may think it is.
That might make sense if you ignore all the science to the contrary. Study after study show that trans women who have been on HRT exhibit no discernible advantage over cis women, when studying the specific characteristics you mention, like bone density and muscle mass. That *is* reality.I'm not sure if you were being deliberately obtuse or glib, but the real people harmed by these policies are not just the Olympic athletes, but the kids who just want to play high school sports for fun.
Putting aside the facts that advantageous genetic differences are celebrated in the Olympics and that reproductive ability is not (and should not be) remotely germane, the purported advantages (I'm not denying that they exist in general, only that they are not applied uniformly) are undone by a year or two of HRT, which is a requirement of the IOC for trans folks to compete. You're tilting at windmills, here; your problem is theoretical, but your solution hurts very real people.
I have good news for you, then! That won't ever happen because trans women are women!
Psssssst... we can do whatever the fuck we want with our language. "Only choices", my ass...
Well, if the majority want something, it must be right!Capitalism is a default paradigm! We could be fair to everyone by reinstituting separate-but-equal!Chromosomes are something that everyone knows and are never anything but XX or XY!God almighty, are you competing for a gold medal in being wrong?

smh these videos of people putting animals into danger so that they can save them for clocks are getting out of hand.
I definitely read it as "Sesame Street banned four episodes..." at first, too. Took me a minute to parse it as you intended.
......what? Nobody said or suggested anything like that.No fabrications *should* be made; there's already more than enough ammunition on that front, and like the link says, we don't need to discredit ourselves and score points for the right. Not trusting anyone or anything because conservatives will lie about it is cutting off your nose to spite your face.
Ehhhh, some healthy skepticism is deserved here: https://www.friendlyatheist.com/p/before-you-share-that-story-about
#8 Oof, a friend of mine from elementary/middle/high school hurt his back playing basketball for the school team. Treating it with prescribed meds turned into an opiate addiction which led to his killing a woman in a fiery crash. Straight-laced kid to prison for decades; it's very real.
You know what would also be sad? Getting caught in another Great Molasses Flood. Seconds count.
I agree that it's heinous, but she's a fucking gold medalist and I ain't shit, so nobody should be caring what I think about her hair.
I grew up in Waco, so I'm a bit biased, but I think it rules. Certainly beats my alma mater's slogans of "Pony up" (which isn't bad in a vacuum, but loses some of its verve when it's used by the second-most-expensive school in the state) and what they changed it to this year: "Thunder down"
My pallet can hold up to 3,500 pounds and be picked up by a forklift from any direction. What the fuck does sugar and tomato sauce have to do with that?!
"It's a chocolate soufflé baked in a water bath..."
Mmkay, dude. If it makes you feel better to either completely miss the forest for the trees or deliberately misunderstand her point, go ahead, I guess, but I urge you to consider what benefit, to anyone, this questioning is doing.
