Do grocery prices next. Or, heck, the price of a ps5, which has increased by $150 or 30% since Trump took office.
That’s the thing. We won’t get proof, but it will always feel fishy to me. The guy had a disastrous first term that resulted in millions of COVID deaths, he whined like a baby when he lost reelection and tried to stage a coup, he was convicted of something like 24 felonies, he was clearly losing it in his public appearances leading up to Election Day, and somehow he got MORE of the popular vote than in 2016? It just does not add up to me.
What happens when you add up all the votes for any candidates that weren’t Trump? Dude got under 50% of the vote, so by definition more people voted against him than for him, like the other poster said. (It was really close though.)
Alcoholism is a hell of a disease. The sad truth is that probably was the best he could do. Does not mean he needs to be forgiven or gets a pass for his behavior, because he does not. But neither is he a fairy tale villain gleefully wrecking other people’s lives. Humans are complicated, and some of them are struggling so hard against the currents of life they drag others down with them.
Yep, there is no ambiguity. Definitely orchids.
Unfortunately I don’t think Democrats are going to risk running a female candidate again until MAGA is a distant memory. Both times so far have given us Trump.
The ironic thing is that the new one sounds like she is doing a bad impression of Jen Psaki, except she’s not clever or honest enough to actually clap back with facts so she just spews the most inane, blatant BS constantly.
That’s due to actual research into what people are able to read comfortably. Not to mention all the mishears and other errors that always show up in the text. Just a middle finger to the deaf and hard of hearing community.
Off topic but I cannot stand this style of subtitle. You think it is helping anyone to have the last word of the sentence appear on-screen for 1 millisecond? There’s a reason subtitles in TV and movies have been the way they are for decades, and tbat
Look, I agree that corporations are absolutely being greedy here, but I have never been convinced by this argument. Record corporate profits hare going to happen pretty much by default every time there is high inflation, unless the company deliberately sets out to have lower profit margins. If you are selling widgets for $10 and making 3% of that in profit, and the cost of making widgets doubles due to inflation, so you double the price you are selling them for, you are now making double profits
Look, I do not condone this AT ALL (who would?), but isn’t this headline missing an “allegedly”? I’d be was only arrested/charged, he has not been found guilty by a jury of his peers, and for a crime of this magnitude, I’d rather a person’s name remain out of the papers until judged guilty, even horrible racists. How is nobody else taking issue with this?
The more degrees, the hotter. Can’t deny that,
It’s actually disgusting how far they have managed to push the Overton window (or its truth equivalent) with their endless accusations of “liberal bias.” You have an entire mainstream “news” network wholly dedicated to pushing right-wing propaganda, the Trump White House violating the Hatch Act 10 times per second with lies about their political opposition on official .gov websites and emails, and the supposedly “liberal” media still trying to make this sound there are two rational sides.
#2 I don’t believe this actually applies to all forms/definitions of asexuality. There are two main definitions of asexuality: experiencing low or no sexual attraction to others, or experiencing low or no desire for sexual activity in general. So technically you can be asexual because you have no interest in sex but still feel sexual attraction. There are also many people on the asexual spectrum who do experience at least a little sexual attraction in specific circumstances or times.
First two are almost certainly satire. The guy who kept spelling “his” as “he’s” is clearly ICE material, though.
He said one thing about trans athletes but has otherwise been very supportive of LGBTQ+ rights, signing bills that protect and expand trans rights in the state. He isn’t morally perfect but you are being overdramatic.
But how much wealth do the top 10% and the bottom 50% hold? I wish OP would have dropped a clue.
I mean she collects vintage etch a sketch and has a giant play-doh logo on her shirt. I expect her to be a little eccentric and antiquarian.
When I see the word used, it is to describe someone with white nationalist or gender absolutist ideologies who consistently dehumanizes the out-group and advocates stripping them of their rights. You don’t have to be German in the early 40s to be a nazi.
Lionize. That’s the word I was looking for. They will insist you are gleefully celebrating his death if you don’t treat him as a tragic martyr.
What people like this don’t realize is that having sentencing guidelines for minors is ESPECIALLY important in the case of serious crimes. These are the situations when it is least appropriate to judge them as fully developed adults.
Well, just ladies from the sound of it.
I deleted Spotify for that, but also I never subscribed so they just loaf my as revenue. Switched to Tidal, but eventually I just started using CDs and Bandcamp.
It is also fact that DC has a relatively low crime rate, both compared with other states and with the past.
With Harris, I think it’s partially racially motivated. “Kamala” sounds foreign. “Harris” does not.
I don’t know how to explain to you how much this is staged.
Best subtitles ever.
How is that possibly part of a budget and tax bill?
Good. Regardless of their crimes, these are people with identities outside of the label “criminal.” They deserve time with their families, and their families deserve time with them. Yes, even the violent ones who are guilty af deserve this, but of course that doesn’t describe everyone in this article.
In a general sense, all of them. They are shaped more like birds than like any airplane or her than a fighter jet.
