awwww she got her attention while the babies were all fast asleep so she didn't have to worry about them... then back into momma mode.

I miss being around ferrets, my aunt used to have a lot and I would always go over and visit. one named Maggie was an older gal who came from an abusive situation but she loved to cuddle and fall asleep in your arms.... and give kisses inside your ears haha

yay gaining! but yeah soooo active, and I just noticed they all have different colors of blue for eyes... Jaime is the closest to what my boy had though. But they are all so cute... I can't wait to see them waddle walk with triangle tails sticking up

I suggest, seriously I might add, to have a spray bottle of water, so when you say no and they try anyways you can spray them and go "No, Bad human, bad!" well okay maybe not going bad human that is a lil joke but yeah

And if they continue, just spray them every time they come near you, not even trying but the fact they are near they get sprayed.

hehe, for a bit there it looked like one was nomming on their paw not grooming.

I love them so much, and it looks like they are warming up to the touches and pets, and often look at you too. so cute

its almost as if she knows there are kittens so she is acting like one herself... that or is just a silly goober hehe

awwwww looks so handsome. kinda wish you could paint their claws instead or something (not at all biased that it might look cute) but yeah, hopefully they end up different eye colors when older!

Yeah it can be hard when animals are small.... I never tried to sex baby rats when I had a litter born. But it became obvious before I had to separate them at least!

There was a black savannah female that showed up on our doorstep once... unable to cut it as a stray as her body was practically eating itself. All the stress was making her fur salt and peppered. But helping her grow more social and feeding her for a month really helped. Took her to the shelter and in an hour she was already adopted. Maybe due to dog attack while pregnant, then 6 kittens to take care of might have caused it, but she is healthy now

I am so happy, it also looks like they aren't moving around as aimlessly as before now that their eyes are open, so while burning calories they also see where they are going.... maybe now alisocks is not being chased off mama's milk? that she can find it more easily?

I think Bobbie is slowly getting used to it, and is starting to like laying on soft clean blankets

You gave her love, and a good quality of life as well. Taking care of her, playing, giving loves, food, all the things. I am sure she knows you tried everything you could.
