our SQL guy came from a major big player in his 50s. I dare to think he is happy in our smaller company. I know I cherish him because of his work style.
I have a colleague that is pissed, that I wont hug her but another one. yeah, duh! the other one never corners me for a hug and knows I hug if I want to, not if YOU want me to. people need to offer instead of force/nag. ..so thank you, I guess

uhm you paint. you don't take down the wallpaper unless it has pattern that would shine through or so many coats of paint, that it can't hold more. my childhood room had at least 4 different paint jobs in 15 years and the paper was the original one
pay someone to put a GPS tracker, a bell/loudspeaker thingy and a flag on the snail... it's either too heavy to move, or it's trackable

That shit would never fly normally. If I create an account at our firm they are restricted access and I have a digital trail showing who wanted the account. Unless you are a higher up you can't even ask for an account for yourself. I will need a third person giving their OK first.
As far as I understand it they asked for admin accounts to be created without of documentation that they were created. so if any one asks nobody can proof it was DOGE that wanted them created. Which is especually damning if ...sorry: when they are misused. So when they are used by say...the russians or any other "spy" the account creator is fucked and it can't be prooven DOGE is at fault. Add to that they asked for security measures like double authentification to be disabled...

If they are any good they try to get you to fokus on the things you can influence... there is a diagram of the zones that influence you and the ones you can influence. It's not a magic cure, but it can help. side note: it's not constant or easily done... and the first sessions can suck and feel like you are stuck.
Many know but either don't care or justify buying these breeds with a "but mine is healthy" lie to themselves. I had a ex coworker show me her frenchy proudly... when I told her off she said "but according to my vet she is healthy for a frenchy, she just needs eyedrops the rest of her life"...FOR A FRENCHY..that means in fact, that she is NOT healthy..never mind eyedrops twice a day for her whole f-ing life.

As part of the 94%: what the toddler with anger issues in the body of a pensioner does has effect on most of us too. if he keeps unstabilizing the US and meddling in Ukraine we will suffer no matter how big the pond between us is.
This is my hope. He has nothing holding over their head once they are appointed. So IF they decide to disregard what he wants there is not a lot holding them back... note the big IF.
at this point I am up for a betting pool..or a bingo card
