Stories like these remind me why I usually put extra effort into working with the parents as a daycare-teacher. Parents usually don't give themselves as much credit as they should. Parenting while dealing with all sorts of other stuff like job-hunting/working is rough. Kudos to you OP and congrats for finding a job!
