That’s a weird way to illustrate our flag

I can verify this is the truth. I was on a date with Margot Robbie and we walked by all the broken cars. We would have stayed to help but we were meeting Selma Hayek for a threesome.

The dog is his AA sponsor, so he’s just looking out for him

What’s the context here? (Besides Nazis being Nazis)

They are called Atlanta and Portland

I’m in recovery myself, but I’ve been through some stuff lately where I tried to reconnect with a family member who I suspect has untreated anger and mental health issues. I had to come to terms with the sad conclusion that they are a threat to my sobriety and I’ll need to distance myself from them considerably.

Sure maybe not changeable in a big picture but you don’t have to accept it around you. If you see someone being racist towards some one you can speak, you can choose not to but from a racist company, etc those thing can effect things even in a very micro way. But like in my example many addicts find themselves trying to affect things they really have no agency in

When used in a political slogan, it’s kind of weird. Stuff like racism which in unacceptable, is changeable, you have agency over your actions in that regard.

The concept of “accept the things you cannot change” of the serenity prayer as used in AA is implying to let go of things you really cannot effect - to allow yourself permission to let go of toxic situations. For example, if you have a family member or someone in your life that is toxic towards you, you are unlikely to be able to change who they are. Accepting that gives you motivation to establish boundaries or remove yourself from the person entirely if that’s what healthiest.

#33 the worst thing about Europe is they are oppressed by the socialism of having good reliable transportation across multiple countries. (/s but that’s a stupid ass Twitter post)

I usually hear “why did that guy glue an acorn onto the bottom of this torso?”

2 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

That’s like saying health is almost independent of having fully functioning lungs and clear arteries.

Yeah but a screaming man on tv said it’s the magic scary word….socialism! So I peed and crapped myself. I would have went to a doctor about my inability to control my pee and poop but I already spent my paycheck on insulin.

What is the point of this cartoon? Is it saying that people arguing that students loans should be forgiven should drop their argument because schools are raising tuition?

I disagree. It should be SB.

I always see stuff like this and people will say/write stuff like “he’s not a real Christian” or “this isn’t what Christianity is about” but I have to admit it’s getting real hard to believe. Not trying to be a jerk to you all but Christianity is looking more and more like a hate group everyday.

It’s okay I understand. Hungry and sad is my typical state of being.

It’s okay, just think of the value we’ve added to the 1%’s stock portfolios

It’s because you just don’t understand freedom like the wise and highly intelligent Republican Party does. Freedom means the state can dictate your private medical needs. ….wait…

My perspective is, nothing is worse than fascism and the Republican Party is a bonafide fascist party that at any given election has a ~50% (at least) of seizing power.

Also one time we asked some city official why they were tearing down apartments that were accessible to our light rail. They said they needed the extra lanes because development happening in the suburbs means more people will be communing into the city. I can’t think about that exchange without getting a migraine.
