No, I'm going to care and think kind positive things about you no matter what you do or say and against whatever will you may have about being treated with respect and dignity
See at least I care about other people even those I don't know but I guess that just because of my moral superiority
I don't think your the intended audience, it was meant for people with a sense of humor
I would first validate them and then make the joke and then say something nice about them, if you sandwhich the joke between empathy and validation then they wouldn't get upset and might laugh and be able to heal a little in their trauma journey, do you think trauma victims should never be happy or laugh again and they must always be upset, thank goodness you came to save them with your hero complex you should let them be able to feel however they want about their experiences
