Motivations of russians fighting: I want money.
There are no geneva conventions protecting a pilot who has reached the ground. They are treated as combatants as they try to flee from the crash site. The murdering russians got less than they deserved, and it will take years of training to replace them. The people who fly aircraft to bomb people defending their homeland are sociopaths who deserve no special protections simply because they are pilots.

the s500 is still experimental and not many have been produced. The s400 system has around 60 units, which consists of a command station, two radar systems and up to 8 launchers in a unit. So there are roughly 600 s400 launchers left. Not a massive amount really when you think of the scale of area they need to cover in russia and crimea, so not many s400 systems have been sold to russia's allies.

These clips come out at a near daily rate. Go to r/ukrainewarreport and a day or two from now you will see another russian air defense or radar system being hit by ukraines FP1 and FP2 drones

Bullets over short distance travel in a straight line horizontally. They do drop vertically as the travel obviously. The point is to show that a bullet traveling in a straight line to hit good in the face could only have hit her if the shooter was not infront of the vehicle. If he was infront of the vehicle, the first bullet would have traveled passed her head on her left. Thus, by the time he pulled the trigger he was NOT infront of the vehicle and was NOT in danger.

Russia controls less territory of Ukraine than what it did at the start of the war and will at current rates take a decade to regain the land they lost. For the last 3 years of the war they made pathetic gains at the cost of hundreds of thousands. Keep supporting Ukraine and russia will not be able to take their sovereignty. Europe must fight rising populism or fall to it as america has, becoming isolationists in an age of renewed imperialism. from the economist

it would be foolish to get very close to a flying bomb carrying a 100 pound warhead. Not all of them fall to the ground first before exploding. it is efficient because a shahed drone costs $50k to make while the bullets coming out of that particular mini gun are a dollar each, so even if they shot for a full minute it would still be fiscally a good way to destroy them compared to shooting them down with a $500k anti air missile.
