Not just inner city kids. It's everywhere. Back in Texas, my neighbor would try to trade cars. Had a guy that only had a certain cash amount, but sweetened the deal with an AK-47 + rounds. The tradeoff commenced, no paper-trail. That's why I laughed in my conspiracy theorist brother's face when he claimed "Obama is coming to take all our guns." No. We're armed with a permanent STD, the side-effect is possible gun-crime from anyone at any time. We must do anything we can to mitigate that problem.

My Dad had passed away, and I shed tears when it happened, and I welled up at his service. I was listening to a ton of synthwave at the time, and I really like The Bad Dreamers. One night, on the way back home, I was digging the sound of a song of theirs. Turned up the volume, and I couldn't ignore the content of their lyrics, and the dam broke. I fucking wept my eyes out in mid-drive. The song is called "One Way Ticket"
