And its still clashing with the problem of FTL possibly breaking causality and a bunch of other little issues, like requiring all the energy of Jupiter to work. But it is indeed nice progress in theoretical physics of possible engines fixing the tyranny of fuel dilemma. No one would like a FTL engine more then me but have to have a little more skepticism then listening to one pop astrophysicst. Eyes on Avi Loeb.

I am sorry to inform but all FTL is science fiction magic. You are talking about alcubierre drive which requires "exotic" (magic) negative energy matter to function. Also quite possibly breaks a handful of quantum mechanical laws.
