Prop specialists are like voodoo priests. It's super specialized knowledge. Don't go screwing with it. It looks like that prop is good condition no big bends or dents on the blades. Buying a new prop will almost certainly screw something up. Maybe a little sanding buffing and repaint if you must. If you have a real prop specialist in your area you can meet with the guy and discuss how you would like the power curve changed. Otherwise just roll with what you got.
Pretty much anything is edible.

I'm not questioning stats. I have a master's in biology. I'm questioning polls. They cannot be unbiased. From the wording of the questions to the people who actually answers the polls. It's inherently not objective. It's barely a science. It's wrong all the time. Pollsters weight responses based on the types of answers and behaviors they expect from different demographics. Be it race or age or religion. Polls are garbage. They carry very little predictive power.
No I'm claiming that they were incorrect. When the poll says it's 53% one way and 47% the other and the standard error is 3.5% then the poll does not mean anything. But people would like to say that it means the side with 53% is winning. My point is even if it's done perfectly the general public has no idea how to actually interpret what the polls say.And that's if everything is on the up and up. Biases exist and malicious parties also exist. Polls are garbage not because the science is bad.
At best the error bars on the estimations overlap meaning they have no predictive power. At worst they can fall prey to internal biases that exist at individual polling organizations. Realistically they can be manipulated to reflect what the highest bidder maliciously wants the public to believe.There's no winning with polls.
