I've heard from friends that they struggle with S01 sisko. But there's some fantastic episodes and plots. S01E19 Duet is "measure of a man" good.
Prodigy is just a great show. Even for adults. Got good DNA in that show. SNW is also good. But disco, Picard, both utter trash. Writers wouldn't know trek if it bashed them. DS9 is my favourite for being the dark underbelly of federation politics. The mixing pot and all that comes out of those utopian ideals. Outstanding
