#24 I went to a very nice restaurant once (Canlis in Seattle) and asked for no arugula because it tastes like dirt to me. At the end of the meal when they were serving desert, the gave me a very nice presentation of arugula leaves on a salt bed as my desert. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time, it totally made my night to be teased by the chef.

Did you actually take these pics each year? Or did you have to bind for the first one?

I feel this, but it has to be something we do _as a society_. I've unfortunately been an enabler for unhoused folks I care about, giving them money while they lied to me about being clean. I think the important thing is to make the things they need available without money, rather than just giving them money.

#2 I'm sorry, if you find English "terribly boring" then you're not even trying. I'm sorry, is 3,000 years of complex etymological history too much for you? There are a million little interesting things with English if you just take the time to ask, "why is this word that way? Why does it sound like this French/German/Nordic word? Why do these words sound the same but aren't related?" It's so interesting!!!!

No, it's an old joke, that's been done so many times already in a variety of formats: tweets, image bash comics, etc. This is the thing with AI, sure, MAYBE it can help creative people be more creative, but USUALLY it helps uncreative people not do work and then take credit for work others have done.

Okay so I appreciate this effort, but I have arachnophobia. It's an "irrational and uncontrollable" fear, not just "I don't like spiders" or "I think spiders are gross". I love what spiders do for an ecosystem, but seeing one, even a gif or a photo, puts me into full flight or fight adrenaline mode. It's not comfortable and I can't really do anything about it.
