Of all the memes to survive from the Long Long Ago, I’m surprised this one stuck around and not stuff like Courage Wolf or Insanity Wolf, which made it onto TV even.
“If you think it might be a raven, it’s a crow; if you think it might be a small airplane, it’s a raven.”
What… what was the intended outcome, here?
Everything about this whole story was awful for everyone involved.
A moment in our cultural history, captured.
Username checks out.
May his remaining days be miserable and few in number.
It comes from the term “old sawbones,” a very old fashioned slang for “doctor.”
My one issue is that people aged 55-65 are solidly Gen X, not boomers. Much like the boomers need to realize that millennials are around 40 and not 20, we need to realize that boomers are much older than 60.

Intrusive Thoughts of Death Barbie!
Let the cream rise to the top.
Let’s not forget being credibly accused of raping a 13-year-old (in addition to dozens of adult women).
Yeah, Trump won because I don’t pretend Diane Feinstein is a progressive icon and not all the cheating, voter suppression, and the Russian interference. If you’re gonna just quote shit I neither said nor implied then I’m just not going to argue with you.
I’ve voted Dem in every election since I turned 18 in 1999. I never said the party was bad. I never said “don’t vote for them.” Stop ascribing motives and beliefs to me when I’ve said nothing of the sort.
It’s not a “both sides” thing. By any reasonable definition, the Democratic Party is both conservative and corporatist. We’re just forced to juxtapose them with the most lunatic far-right nonsense in the whole goddamn world.
They’re afraid, that’s for fucking sure.
