While they do play differently, I have never met a single person who would call the different versions of D&D "different systems*. Blades in the Dark is a different system from D&D. Pathfinder is even a different system despite essentially being D&D 3.75, but no, "I like oranges" "yeah but which fruit" isn't "which variety of orange" they used the wrong word it's fine grow up and move on.
They said system not version, To Be Fair. Next time you want to try and "well actually" someone make sure you do it right.
My first campaign lasted ~5 years lvl 1-20. It was fantastic.

This is why the damage is already done. Not saying we shouldn't still get rid of the fascist bastards, but we will never recover to Pre-TFG 2025. This a seed change that we never recover from. Maybe we pivot and become a different kind of successful/powerful but Biden was the last President of that kind of America.
Its wild they think that corrupting the voting system will help them. Republicans, we use voting because all the killing was not efficient. If you make it so we can't vote then...
This is the entire reason regular couples advice doesn't work in abusive relationships. Also most folks tend to think of physical or sexual abuse when emotional and verbal abuse are far more widespread. So people who don't know don't realize and then give this type of advice, which causes more harm for the target.
But at least eggs are cheap now, right?
