On the one hand yes, on the other... people generally don't operate logically. They always pretend they do, but it is mostly emotions. And for people who suffer from mental illnesses this holds true even more. Life isn't a story that makes sense. A phobia is by definition an irrational fear.

As always the reality is way more difficult. The EU has only half-heartily supported Ukraine since the war started, watching them bleed out. France is the only one who seriously tried to get European troops into Ukraine. And likewise it would've collapsed three times over without American military goods, because the European production capacity and stock was basically non-existant. Germany has only 200 (!!!) Leopard tanks in their army. They had to reactivate 20-year old pieces to supply some.

I remember from a decade ago when the German police actually de-blurred a cp picture and they were able to arrest the criminal somewhere in Asia.

At the university in Augsburg, Germany, they had exactly such a thing in the canteen for the eating utensils. Had to have them replaced after they opened the new mensa because no one noticed it before.

My ex was a freak in that regard. She was the typical "I'm always cold"-women, but at night her feet apparently got super warm and she would pull up the blanket to have them exposed. :,D

Hope is like a cheese grater - you keep rubbing against it until there's nothing left.

You're seeing 2 seconds of 3 rounds. He's tired, probably has a concussion already and takes a hit right before.

You're cute.

I got plenty of scars myself. I always viewed them positively, as having survived a battle, but I know that's different for a lot of other people.

Not going to lie, I would kind of like a badass scar on my face. Was a bit disappointed that nothing was left of it :D

A lot of the throws in f.e. Judo aren't really dangerous to the one getting thrown if the thrower controls them properly. I could use those throws on my friends without a big risk. But with interlocked arms like in the vid you can easily get broken bones or joints.

Under the clothes it is just cellulite city. You can see it on non-photoshopped pictures of a certain kind of celebs too, like Nicki Minaj or Kim Kardashian.

There's a big cultural difference in this issue between anglo-saxon countries (which derive their laws mostly from Great Britain - Canada, US, NZ and so on) that have relatively little right to privacy and other countries like France and Germany.

Some of these jobs are physically demanding. Elder people sometimes can't or don't want to continue doing them.

I think that bike crash really did a number on your head. I'm not repeating, I made 2 comments. I'm neither a women, nor have kids, nor am interested in rugby or AF. I just dislike people posting dumb stuff online.
Meanwhile you can't even read abstracts of studies (and you're welcome to provide your own!) and think that everyone who disagrees with you has a personal vendetta. Ok, very balanced. Have a good one.

But with that said... I guess who needs studies? You personally know a few rugby guys, and despite CTE being diagnosable only after death, you've cleared them of being affected! I bet you're also their doctor and they confided in you regarding their mental health, right?...
And well, that your brain works great can really be seen by the logic of your answer, right?

There are studies about NZ too. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/9865405/ shows that injuries are common and https://www.nzrugby.co.nz/assets/Salmon-et-al.-2020-What-they-know-and-who-they-are-telling-Concussion-knowledge-and-disclosure-behaviour-in-New-Zealand-adolescent-rugby-union-players.pdf gives a number of 69% of highschool players having received a concussion, 31% medically diagnosed.

Thanks for trying to actually spread some true facts. All these people in the comments just bullshitting...

The injury rates in Rugby are higher then in American football (and way higher then Soccer lol).

And regarding CTE... the last studies show 95% prevalence in autopsies in professional football players and >70% in college (!) players. Rugby will have an even higher number.

Immediately following your death your face will turn yellowish, with a plastic look. It is pretty recognizable.

I saw this vid on insta yesterday. It is remarkable how fast it loses 80% of its quality.

Just look at the comments under any post with even slight sexual content if you want to lose some of that pride.

And the doc who discovered that was laughed at because others thought it as an insult that he said they were dirty and should wash themselves. He died a few years after in an asylum after getting beaten by the guards.

I know this is meant in jest, but it is way more complicated. Japan segregated itself starting in 1603 for 250 years, not allowing any foreigners or trade into their country (Sakoku). Unfortunately the outside world developed faster then them and in 1868 the USA forced them to abandon their policy by a show of force of their way superior navy. And the following treaties Japan was severely disadvantaged and it laid the roots for them hating the Western powers.

Once on a vacation in Mallorca (with a lot of Germans in the hotel) the management had to announce that it would remove towels that were placed before 7 o'clock because they were getting up at 6 o'clock in the morning on fcking vacation and reserving all the sun beds...

I don't know if it is meant serious or not. "Hey, I just put on sunglasses, gloves and a bag, and suddenly it looks like much more!" - oh really???
