I know Imgur is more than a site for posting funny memes, but we already have a feature to accommodate for this with tags and yet nobody is able to use it. I have enough ways to access the news through more reliable means than twitter screenshots, but if I am also bombarded with flashy headlines and heartfelt posts even when I'm trying to cheer myself up in one of the few places where an algorithm doesn't decide for me what I want to watch it is genuinely affecting my mental health.
Well I guess I'll stick to the annoying solution then: blocking any user who posts more politics than memes
Is there a way to filter out the political posts for mental health reasons? Nobody seems to tag anymore

Please tag your politics posts as such, some of us try to recharge here with comedy and levity.

People need to realize how many people are out there hurt by this, and then consider what happens in the US if someone thinks they have nothing left to lose. These CEOs are playing with dice and haven't considered what happens if they lose the dice roll even once.
I really should write that one idea I had of a magical girl struggling to balance her life and her 'job' and the community having to step up and look after their mysterious and young protector.

"it might not have been your fault, but it is your responsibility" it has to affect the entire chain of command because if they're unaware, that is still a failure that needs correcting.

Got to the FP a few years ago with basically the same kinda post (come to think of it it was exactly four years ago, go figure). You have to mute the political posters who don't use political tags, it will get better that way. I've been in this exact place, you can tailor it to become your dose of fun and cute again with some deliberate pruning.
I could spend a whole summer like that, don't care how heavy the dog is or how hot the weather, that is peak relaxation
