No, but at least my neglectful mom made sure I ate a few times a week and tried to make sure someone was around when she left me. My sister's bio mom ditched her at birth at the hospital as soon as the doctors left the room. They came back with her and her bio mom was gone. My mom took her in and did a slightly less neglectful job with her than she had with me.
