Honestly, I get both arguments here. Although what he did was clearly and obviously wrong, it doesn't reach the levels of "monster." Do we really know if he "learned his lesson," idk, but he's shown contrition. So the question becomes what is the line you cross in which you become unforgivable. You two clearly have different lines...
