A fraction of people are single-issue abortion voters, sure. The majority of people think of themselves first, foremost and only, though - it's all about the individual's money. Trump offered utterly nonsensical but easy-to-communicate solutions for the affordability crisis, which was and is still the absolute centerpiece of it all, and the American people are unfortunately dumb enough to accept nonsense.
