I'll add to the replies that if your parents are listed on your FAFSA, they have the authority to accept or reject loans for you, meaning you may not see the amount or interest until it has already been disbursed to your school.

Call it what you want, but general strikes take massive amounts of planning and organizing. It's not as simple as a hashtag. Childcare, mutual aid for those who can't afford to miss shifts, emergency response services, and a myriad of other things need to be coordinated on a national scale. If you want to see this happen, get organizing in your community. General strikes are powerful, but only when they are accessible.
Reminder that people who base their identity largely on others are so damn easy to bully

Here's the thing about memes - well-timed satire, dissent, or resistance dressed up to look like humor can be wildly impactful. It is by no means the sole form of engagement anyone should count on, but getting people to laugh by making them look like fools online has its place in resistance movements.
