Maybe I missed something. Are we still talking about the military, or is this an electrical question, or something completelt different?
34 degrees Farenheit (2 above freezing). ETS means leaving the military at the end of your contract, instead of re-enlisting.
Can we get a rough estimate of your age at that time? Because right now I'm just picturing a little kid swooning over a tough sarcastic spinster and it's awesome, I need to know if that is accurate.
At best it's some feel-good hocus-pocus nonsense, at worst it is just one more example of how powerful and manipulative religious indoctrination can be. Logic is not part of the equation for those who might pursue such a blessing. It's all faith, or delusional thinking. Almost certainly not; he was not doing well, mentally or emotionally, at the time. But it certainly makes the meme funny to say that was the motivation, lol.

Anyone care to share where you might have heard this tune before? I'm from USA, born in the 80's, and I can't say for certain that I've ever heard this. Heard plenty of popular music, various genres, from the 50's 60's and beyond, but not this tune.

Anybody know what actually caused this crash? Almost looks like the boat hit something before the driver disappears.
I mean, I haven't seen the video, I never heard of this until today. If the person above hadn't posted a link to the wikipedia page I wouldn't even know what the hell this post was talking about. And thanks to that wikipedia page I now know that this event occurred on the same day that George Floyd was murdered. I'll wager a staggering number of folks have never heard of this exchange because it was overshadowed by a much more tragic event.
I just hope whatever long-term care facility he ends up in has a policy that when checking for signs of life the first step is to punch the resident in the balls.
Would you please ask him to come to career day at my job and talk to us about his job hauling rocks at the quarry in a really big truck?
True, kids make up all kinds of fantasies, but I guess it could be kind of unsettling if the parent believes in supernatural phenomena.
