Was Davinci a Burmese? We have a 16 year old girl who looks a lot like this. Her color changes throughout the year (darker in the winter; lighter in the summer).
We just lost her sister, Biscuits, who was my wife's soul-kitty. She put my wife to bed every night, and snuggled hard.
So, so, SO sorry for your loss. We're still reeling from it, as she was a constant in our lives. Much love and condolences from here.

I can think of a few people we could launch into orbit. The factoid makes no mention of them having to be alive. Totally worth the price of launch fuel and deployment mechanisms.

Is there any way to use an ad blocker for the mobile app? I have YouTube running all day while at work, pay for premium, but would love for a way to not pay them for showing me 3 min ads every 20s (and I don't want to switch to using a mobile browser, as having a queue is sort of essential....unless that's actually possible on a mobile browser).

Fellow Oregonian here. I renewed my license last year, but don't remember the cost (got the real-ID nonsense attached to it, even though I have a relatively new passport). What's the current cost?

Upon first reading, I thought Leo was the one who did all these things!

I love this whole idea! Are these all from your personal collection? One respectful request: could you put what the toy/minifig is in either the title or description. There are so many of these I vaguely recognize, but can't place their name. Cheers!

Not to be pedantic (ok, maybe to be a little pedantic), while the Titanic may have been at the Belfast Harbor, its last port of call was Cobh, Ireland before it started its fated journey. Speaking of Cobh, there is an absolutely massive church on a hill there that dominates the landscape. Don't let the pigeons in though (IYKYK)

As a lifelong metalsmith (gold, platinum, silver, iron), I will never forget when I worked at a horse boarding facility and they would have a ferrier come in. Those guys are part blacksmith, part veterinarian, and all kinds of amazing. It's an ancient craft that has lasted in the same way jewelry making has. Mad respect for ferriers!

#16 I think I have a problem, because that seems like not actually that many nachos. They're in a bucket though, so only the first 3rd will be edible.

Uhm, jeweler here; silver, gold, and platinum rings will not just 'snap' off. They are far more malleable than titanium, yes, but they will absolutely destroy your finger if caught in a machine.
Just don't wear any jewelry when operating machinery. It's really that simple, and there isn't any excuse for it.

Mind you, this is entirely based on seeing episodes of Moonshiners; racoon dick-bones are used in stills to help direct the flow of the distillate into the collection jar.

#35 So I'm actually flirting with the idea of getting into finally reading some 40k stuff. What IS the actual 'correct' order to read them in?

I freaking hate these things because I always see them indented rather than popped out! Makes it soooo much harder to figure out what's there. I was always so confused how other people would so easily see what it was. Any tips?

My house was originally built in 1880. There have been at least 3 additions to it since then, with the last one being likely in the early 50s. The choices and quality of building is basically exactly like this.

Labor laws are pretty clear on how long lunches should be and when to take them. Clock in from lunch at 27 min, then notify your state's labor department and forward them that email. Yay $50k fine!!
