"Much like sharks, hondas also experience a type of tonic immobility when turned upside-down"

This looks callous but this doctor is actually using the latest guidance for normalizing nursemaids elbow (when he pulls it straight) and then does the traditional method ( curling the elbow) second while applying the best practices between the two using the grab with his off hand. I would be more gentle but sometimes ya just gotta grip it and go.

In this frame it looks less like he'll be ok.

Inorganic mercury isnt readily absorbed but what does make its way into plants and animals bio accumulates up the food chain. He is poisoning the air water and soil around him and anyone who breaths the air or drinks the water or eats the plants around him is having their lives measurably impacted. He is literally taking without asking little parts of everyone around him so he can make life better for a few. Maybe just him. This video is an unnecessary tragedy.

Genre evolution is pretty much entirely stymied because anything innovative isnt palatable to the Clear Channel now iHeartRadio exects that runs everything. Black music sounds like mumbling about guns, money, and hoes becauee thats what they think it should sound like. Same thing about pop and country and everything. Has the only new song you've heard on the radio this year been by Taylor Swift? Now you know why. It's all run by the same company. Why would they innovate against no one?

He is identifying one of those conspiracies (not theory, fact) that makes you sound crazy to average people and not crazy enough for conspiracy nuts to latch onto that is nevertheless true. The music industry untied into a monopoly after Clinton repealed the rules that prevented national syndication. Now all radio music is pretty much hand selected by a bunch of white dudes in Texas.

I love suspiciously specific numbers. Like what is the scale here? If walking 0% like a human is just like an inert rock than just having knees probably gets you 99% of the way there. There are soooo many things that dont walk like a human and so few that do (mostly just humans).

#2 you can indeed turn the Titanic around in one day -- just not on the axis you're thinking.

The reason this isn't in FMA is because they used 'equivalent exchange' instead of the 'entire small country's worth of energy for a few picograms exchange'. Turns out the latter doesn't lend itself to making your robot arm a knife on the fly. But hey, they haven't made anything sentient in a flask yet.

There is no such thing as Jared Leto. If you make a movie bad enough he just appears in it like moisture condensing on a window.

Seems exploitable. If you get snatched up, say you're a 'benchwarmer' with important intel confidently enough and they might let you walk.

If you didn't expect to see this at CES, you've never been to a CES. Every walk through is like TV, TV, TV, wearable, AI bullshit, massage chair, startup inventing something that already exists, then like 5 tables of dildos. It'd be more news worthy it there weren't sex toys at one.

And yet, even on a day like that the earth was still magnitudes more habitable than Mars is today. Sea critters, soil bacteria, and more survived that day on Earth and would not survive a day on Mars. But billionaires inist we should colonize Mars instead of fixing earth.
