That's really fucking funny
Maybe my cat is just so tired of my shit that he's pretending to be dead so I leave him alone. But I can't. He has jellybean toes.
My cat does a really good job of being perfectly still when it's trying to ignore me or an animal it's mildly annoyed by. Also if he's deeply asleep, he won't twitch a whisker unless I persist.
Caesar Transgender
He tried to spit on a heckler in 1991 and missed and it may have hit a kid. He was suspended and fined. Not excusing the behavior, but he didn't intentionally spit on a child.
Lmao at flerfs, thanks for that
Yoink
I'm going to meet so many new friends in the camps
I hate it, too. It's.. loud.
Iirc, this person turned out not to be trans at all and was doing this for.. reasons. They basically went to their job this way to prove some point but then took it all off after work.
I don't know about that, were they Teslas?
Check out this diva I found last summer. Elephant mosquito.
Well said!
Jfc. Conversion therapy is pseudoscience that causes actual harm and increases the likelihood of suicide. If adults want to try that shit that's on them, but how can a child in a coercive environment consent to it?
Trans women do tend to age in reverse for awhile lol
Incredible skill just looks like magic to the rest of us.
The law was that children inherited the state of the mother. So an enslaved woman's children were born into slavery. They "belonged" to the woman's "owner." The color purple was set after the end of slavery.
Thank you
Many religious groups absolutely cover it up. It's well documented. The one I grew up in directed members not to inform police unless it was required by state law. They moved predators around the country just like the Catholic Church did. Religions tend to teach that you can and should trust others of said religion. This makes them a great hunting ground for predators. That can't be reasonably denied.
Happy spring y'all
Lol drag is much older than that. Not really going to respond more because the rest of your comment is pretty patronizing.
We want our kids to see a diverse range of people and be accepting. Also drag isn't inherently sexual. And I think we don't want to police ourselves or the harmless things we enjoy because it might upset the religious right who run this country and deeply want to run every part of our lives. It's important to resist their control, not give into it.
Who? Trump and his administration certainly try to. But numerous bills like this have failed over the past several years. Unless it becomes law, the state has no ability to force thousands of medical providers to compile and pass on these statistics. How are they going to get that info without doctors giving it to them? Lol my surgery took place in another state. They won't even know where to look unless my primary care doctor volunteers the info.
That's Trump's playbook, yes. But for things like this, they have often been held up with an injunction, prevented from going into effect while it goes through the courts. And they are losing a lot of these cases.
Yes.. the report released to the public would be BASED on the statistics gathered. That doesn't mean names are being released. Don't get me wrong, this is not good news, but I don't think it will succeed and it's not saying that they are going to publish a list of names. It actually says in the text that the info will be de-identified to protect our identities. I think they are simply trying to identify us without doing so directly.
The headlines make it sound like our names will be released. They won't. And the whole thing violates HIPAA. I imagine it will be kept from going into effect. They'll get sued and then go back to the drawing board.
While this is very bad, it's worth pointing out that 1) it violates HIPAA and 2) although headlines make it seem like our names will be made available to the public, that's not exactly the case. It's info like how many trans ppl per county, what treatments they've had, etc. Supposedly anonymous but not with enough effort, someone could probably isolate an individual in the details. They are trying to work around HIPAA but they got too ambitious.
That's not stockholm syndrome, by definition that's a severely abusive situation where her sense of self has been obliterated to make her emotionally dependent on her abuser. It's a completely different situation than what stockholm syndrome claims to describe. I think the term has taken such strong hold with people because we have all seen people in abusive relationships, though. I am sorry for what your sister has endured.
Every single comment you've ever made seems to be combative and hostile in totally unnecessary ways so I think you just like to try to fight with people.
Yeah this is why the whole analogy of putting on your oxygen mask first before helping someone else with theirs exists.
