#22 I'm proud to say I've used this toilet and it's definitely nicer than just using the big hole in the ground like they used to.

While these are travesties, try the Russian roulette that is "Seattle style pizza." For every butter chicken masterpiece there's a jerked tofu pizza monstrosity. Absolute insanity on a sourdough crust!

I own a Tesla and a diesel VW. I just assume everyone hates me.

If drug smugglers can build submarines they could totally release drug addicted rats into police departments to contaminate evidence. Or, now hear me out, foraging for food just what rats do...

I saw it in person at d'Orsay last week. It's life size and dominates the room!

This is BS. I literally took a 40oz bottle full of ice through TSA in Denver this afternoon. They pulled my bag to check the deodorant wipes and told me the ice was fine.

Seconded. I have thousands of dvd/blurays almost all from the thrift store down the road. $.79 for a DVD or 2/$1. Most movies you'll never find on streaming. We swap them into a plastic sleeve and store them in a card catalog to save space and keep them organized.

They sell a cheap plastic wrap type sheeting that creates an air seal when applied to single pane windows. The plastic traps a layer of air between itself and the glass providing a small r-value insulation between the glass and the room. This is typically enough to prevent moisture from freezing and accumulating as well as reducing the leakage of heat through the glass. It's a temporary measure but in extreme cold situations it's a good quick fix.

I will also note that loose packs are worth far less than sealed boxes. Not only are collectors wary of the condition of the cards, but folks have gotten good at resealing packs from that era.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but a dealer won't want most of that. You have a handful of decent cards and lots of junk wax. If you're trying to find a kitchen renno I'd suggest not getting your hopes up. Not only will you get a low offer from a dealer but you'll likely find how much condition matters quite quickly. With none in slabs, I doubt even the "high dollar" cards will bring anything near what you expect.

Also, most "food poisoning" you will encounter are viral infections transmitted by infected food preparers. The very loud media reports of bacteria infections are amplified by companies recalling products for legal reasons rather than probably of infection. Don't take bacterial contamination lightly, but also remember that uncontaminated, modern, processed food that spoils is unlikely to cause major, long term harm. It just tastes very, very bad.

In reality, your digestive track is better at fighting any bacteria you may have ingested than anything you can add at this point. Millions of years of evolution has prepared your body for consuming spoiled food. To some extent, modern medicine is focused on treating infection rather than preventing it. That's good news because most food poisoning you may encounter can be treated over the counter. TLDR: If you do get sick, it will suck but there are treatments to ease the symptoms.

Those cookies are being misrepresented. They're designed to scissor dirty little coffee mugs not each other! They're far more kinky than this post makes them seem!

If you remember when this meme started, remember to take your Aleve. If you remember watching the show in live broadcast, take double the dose.

I buy every spiral bound xeroxed cookbook I can find. The absolute best ones are photocopies of hand written recipes published by a church or social club that's been gone so long the Internet has never heard of it!

Big takeaway: If you're going to let your kids play in the street, do it on Feb 29th!

As an elder millennial who managed to graduate college and started a bike shop in my living room I can honestly say that my boomer parents thought it was an awful idea. Paid my way through grad school, twice, fixing other students bikes and sold the company for a down payment on my house. Still would not recommend it.

Most of the space is the dvd case. They make clear plastic envelopes to hold covers, inserts, and disks. We recently moved the entire collection to them and it's great! We have nearly 5000 movies in our collection and they don't even take up the entirety of a small cabinet.

For the best. This only works correctly with a fairly new sprocket... On a single speed chain... Master links (multiple speed chains) require more chain flexibility as they're effectively tension links.
