Well, USAmerica is kind of used to being a top dog. And the thing is that the administration is trying to return to those days. So, of course they are utterly blind to the fact that China is making gains internationally and that Russia is hoping the "want of peace" will grant them the entirety of Ukraine (like what happened with prior appeasement).
