There’s a domestic parrot outside Edinburgh who escaped and has teamed up with a murder of crows to form a gang

From an interview I saw with the cast, this was exactly the reaction they were hoping for

I'm not convinced either participant knows the rules of this game, but they enjoy it anyway

I like how this same technique can be weaponised for teen embarrassment in a few years

I had a slightly different reaction to seeing my work colleagues gender-swapped. They were all so definitively them, but simply a different gender, than it really crystallised how fluid the whole concept really is.

It felt like the difference between knowing something is true and feeling something is true

Was it wrong that I also found his character very funny? So much tension in one man.

Here's the thing: the "best" music is not determined by how popular it is. As soon as we can sever the link between art and commerce, we can be free.

(disclaimer: I buy my music from BandCamp. I want artists to have a good standard of living)

There's so many crimes. Morally, it's a crime the way the people were forced to live in the valley of ashes. There's certainly no justice in Gatsby's death. But is he a hero? Absolutely not.

Gonna take issue with the interpretation that The Great Gatsby is about how "crime doesn't pay" because the titular character ends up dead. That book is about a lot of things, but it's generally thought to be about the death of The American Dream. Depiction is not the same as celebration.

(my personal view is that Fitzgerald had a HUGE boner for rich people but that's beside the point)
