No.
After the collapse of every and each socialist system, some eggheads claimed that "this was not the _real_ socialism". But not only were all these systems looking akin, but also there was not a single one that gave the poor the good that the theory promised to them. A strange coincidence, isn't it?
And I am not saying that capitalism is good. Well, perhaps in theory, but not in the American version thereof. If you scratch the American capitalism, you find the old, known heinous oligarchic system of government.
I do not need to read any smart theoretical books about socialism to know what shit it is. I lived in _real_ socialism for a long time. Probably longer than you live on this planet, because I am an old man already.
The bad news is that socialism is also a scam, only worse. If you disagree, go and live in Cuba.
One of the most horrifying pictures I've ever seen...
@OP this seems to be wrong in one respect. Israel does not seem to be a US protectorate colony. It seems rather, that it is Israel that colonised the US.
Surprisingly, other guys do not seem to be surprised.
Obviously, they didn't give a fuck. So they called themselves adequately.

"Palmanova was supposed to be inhabited by self-sustaining merchants, craftsmen, and farmers. However, despite the pristine conditions and elegant layout of the new city, no one chose to move there, and by 1622 Venice was forced to pardon criminals and offer them free building lots and materials if they would agree to settle the town." - from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palmanova

Same. I am stuck with using Windows 7 due to the software I need for my work, but I installed Linux Ubuntu on my kids' laptops years ago, along with Windows (dual boot). Now they use Linux almost exclusively. The older one installed Linux Mint on his new machine, and he also installed Steam Proton. Now he plays his Windows games on Linux only.

Both of the previous answers are correct. But to put this in context: Putin won his first election in 2000 as a reward for his “little victorious war” against Chechnya. And in Chechnya, they committed similar atrocities as in Ukraine. In addition, in 2022, a poll was conducted in Russia asking, “Which country should be attacked after the conquest of Ukraine?” The results are shown below. Russians generally support war as a tool for their country's expansion.
Shit. You say that water works, too? I always poured some alcohol into them.
I love Cádiz. 21 years ago, I spent a wonderful vacation there with my wife and two daughters. This post reminds me that I could make two photo albums from that trip and give them to my little daughters, who are now grown up.

In my native language, the equivalent of the word "street" means a multifunctional space, comprising one or two carriageways, but also sidewalks, possibly bicycle paths, tram tracks, and certain green areas, sometimes also with benches. Or a strip of land serving various transportation purposes, excluding railroad tracks. I didn't know that in American English "street" = "carriageway".
Yeah, I look both ways too, but things happen on the streets and sth may happen behind your back.
That's exactly the reason why, while walking on the street, I ALWAYS have a headphone in only one ear.
