I identify with this entire thread.
Unpopular opinion, perhaps, but instead of worrying about what events to attend or not to attend, I think Dems should worry more about finding better candidates for the next Presidential election.

Used to use a 14" carbide tipped chop saw to cut anything from 1" to 4" bar blanks. Works really well with enough cutting fluid. Gotta have adequate workholding, though, or it gets kinda dicey.
