Former theater worker here. The Theaters themselves, the individual locations, only make money on snacks. Renting the movie prints is the loss they try to make up. I don’t hold snack prices against them. Ticket prices are out of their control.

This and King Bee are both fantastic. But this one is better IMO. If you haven’t seen Caddilac Records, it’s very much worth watching. Jeffry Wright is a great Muddy. Favorite Track: Bus Driver
