Like, she'll be out of prison by the time she's 30, maybe 31, and the men that she accused will likely still be being haunted by her accusations, and that's leaving off the fact that it almost drove one to end their own life. She deserves punishment for that.
Yeah, that's exactly what I'm saying. When it's "he said, she said", then no punishment either way, but when there's proof of fraud, the punishment should be far more extreme than the slap on the wrist that this woman got.
Yeah people bring up that when a case goes to court, if there isn't enough proof to convict, we don't want the person who reported it to necessarily get the same sentence. However in cases like this, where fraud is exceptionally clear, we should probably follow through with that threat. She knew what she was doing, she knew what the results would be for the people that she was accusing.
Comey has to live with the fact that he's the reason why Trump became president. I can think of considerably worse punishments, but that's not a bad one.
