Exactly this, when we first adopted we almost went for a lab but "there are 3 people ahead of him" so we asked them for the dog that no one wanted and got probably the best dog I have ever had. 45lbs of stupid love. Tearing up just thinking about him (he passed in 2020 at the age of ~17 they think)

I feel like we have finally reached a societal tipping point where we collectively laugh at the "you must get married" conversation which is awesome. Nothing against marriage at all (I am) but the idea that its a necessity versus a choice has been the norm for way too long... Now we gotta get rid of the tax and other societal bullshit that benefits marriages.
That star on top is VERY happy for probably more than one reason...
